Answers to Prayers

Making Mom's Necklace! Haha ;)

One of many beautiful Swedish Winter Mornings!

This isn't really a great picture of yours truly, but that is a "Selma"... So GOOD!! :)

Hej Familj!!!

It is P-day again and I am loving SWEDEN! :) haha I am in quite a good mood today mostly because of what happened over this weekend. Let me tell you! We received word towards the beginning of the week that President Anderson was going to be coming and visiting us here in Skövde. He wanted us to set up a teach with someone for Saturday night so that he could follow with and be a part of it. We decided on a few people we could set up times with, but none of them were able to do it. So, we started stressing a little bit and prayed that we would be able to find someone for Saturday night. Friday rolls around, and we still have not set anything up. Before leaving the apartment Friday morning we prayed that we would be able to meet someone that day who we could teach on Saturday night with President Anderson. As we went throughout the day we received a call from our Zone Leaders informing us that one of their investigators just moved to Skövde and that he wanted to meet with us and come to church on Sunday. Äldste Overstreet and I just about lost it! Answer to a prayer!!! haha We called the man who's name is Harry and he wanted to meet us during his lunch break at the University. We went and met him and he was an awesome guy! We got to know him a little bit and asked him if he would be able to meet with us that next day (Saturday Night) and he said absolutely! Bam!! Answer to a prayer!!! hahahaha So Saturday came and after a day full of finding work we headed to the church to meet up with President Anderson. President came and we waited for Harry to come. We waited, and waited and waited and waited... During our waiting it gave us an amazing opportunity to talk with President. He is such and awesome man! I love him! He is very inspired and just a great friend! After a while President asked us if we had any reserve plan and we told him that we were just planning on knocking on doors close to the church if Harry didn't work out. So, President then asked if we had eaten, we had not, so he took us to McDonalds! haha It was so much fun to be with him eating some burgers just talking! We headed back to the apartment with him and taught him the lesson we were planning on teaching Harry. He gave us some feedback and then wanted to observe our nightly planning session. Everything went well and he left us with a prayer. That next morning guess who came to church!! Yup... Harry!! President and Sister Anderson also came and everything went great! Äldste Overstreet and I had the lesson for Priesthood (which was funny because President was there too!!) and everything went well with that.. Our topic was Service. :) During Sacrament Meeting President and Sister Anderson were able to speak for a little bit, and Harry just started to cry! During Sister Anderson's message she talked about the Savior and how much he loves us. Harry turned to us and said that he needed to speak with her. We were a little surprised, but were sure he just wanted to thank her. After the meeting Harry and Sister Anderson talked, and Harry was just in tears. He afterwards compared her to Mother Teresa! He definitely felt the Spirit during the meeting. The respect Harry has for people is just amazing!! haha He is a great person! After church we taught Harry with our branch mission leader, Brother Karlsson. During the lesson we talked about the first part of the Plan of Salvation and then made a focus on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We started to tie it into Baptism, discussing what we do to access the Atonement. We committed him to baptism right then and there and guess what he said???!!!!?!?!?!?!?! He said, YES! As for now Harry will be baptised here in Skövde on the 12th of March! We were just sooo excited! We called President and he told us that he will be planning on coming down for it! Yea!! We have been praying all transfer for a baptismal date and what do you know, our prayer has been answered! :) :) :) The Lord answers prayers.. I know this to be true! His promises are real, and they are a witness to me of the truthfulness of this church! I love it! We all know however, that Satan does not want this to happen with Harry, so, we will be praying extra hard for him and give all that we can to make this happen. He has been in contact with another church already in Skövde and it is making some things hard for him so we need to help him. He knows he must pray and get his answer. He knows what the Spirit feels like... It is up to him to follow the correct path and we will be there every step of the way to help guide and direct him through the adversity Satan will put in his path. There are big things happening in Skövde.. The time is now!!! Speaking of times here in Sweden... It is hard for us economically! The U.S. Dollar is going down in value!! What is going on over there!?!?! Haha it means that we are getting less and less every month, and buying stuff with our home cards is getting more and more expensive. Can you please fix whatever is going on?? haha Jk Jk :) Despite the tough times though, we are still finding money to purchase these little pieces of Heaven called Semlor. What a Semla is, is a sweet roll hollowed out a little, filled with marzipan and little bits of almonds topped with sweet whipped cream and then the cut piece of roll is placed on top and the whole treat is covered with powdered sugar! I know right... heavenly! lol They are sooo good! With a big glass of milk and a nice relaxing evening after a hard days work, there is nothing that I want more... lol Okay, I would rather prefer having some with my family! Of course!! :) Okay, that took a lot of time to type and I need to get to the e-mails! Dad!!! I love you! Thank you for the e-mail! You need to get more sleep mister! You need to be awake to drive! haha It sounds from all of your e-mails that you are just sick and tired of the cold weather! May I just add my name to that list?! haha I can't wait for the Spring and Summer! Woo! So, Josh and Hillary and Landon were visiting huh? Sounds like you all had a great time! I just want to meet that little Landon!!! He is so adorable! I bet he just loves his Grandpa! :) So, Dad, I love how in your e-mail for focused on miracles... Your prayers have blessed my area! We saw a miracle this weekend! And, we continue to see them everyday! Thank you for your prayers and Faith! :) Okay, now it is time for Matt!! I love you Matt! I am so glad that you had a fun time with Josh and Hillary this weekend. It is always great when family is able to visit! You have a great love for your family, and I can feel it! Thank you for sending your love every week! CONGRATS on the 800 pound club! Thats incredible! Way to get that KUNDIS name up on the boards! Matt, your 40-yard dash time was amazing! You are an amazing athlete! Keep working and having fun! I know what you are saying about becoming a Senior.. I remember feeling the exact same way! But then you get to the school that first day and you do feel like a senior! Its pretty crazy! So Jordan got called to Los Angeles huh? Thats pretty cool! Sounds like you would like to serve there! He will love every second of his time there! Every missionary will!!! No matter where they are called! Anyway, I love you brother! Have a great week! Okay next.. Hillary!!! I love you Hillary! What a surprise to have you on the family e-mail! haha It was so cool that you Josh and Landon could visit to Montana! I could understand the need for a break from the norm. I have never spent time at home alone with a baby before, but I can only imagine that you would need to find ways to keep yourself entertained all the time. haha, to be honest, I think I would just get the little guy started early on potty training... lol Just kidding.. Perhaps start him on some good skills... Girls only like guys with good skills you know. lol (quote usage... plus ten points) Knowing Landon, he is going to have some pretty amazing skills! haha Thanks for your part of the e-mail Hillary! My prayers are with you! I will be looking for that letter! :) Okay next up is Josh!!! I love you Josh! You sounds like quite the father oldest brother of mine! Congrats on mastering the art of Fatherhood so fast and efficiently! hahaha ;) It must have been nice to visit the family! I wish I could have been there, but there is a time and a place for everything right? lol Oh, I know exactly what you are saying about p-days.. You gotta plan them right or else you will be left wondering where the day went! Today we are planning on going to the top of a big hill here in Skövde so we can snap some pics. It will take a little while to get up there and no one lives there so thats why we decided to do it on our p-day. Hopefully the pictures will be worth the climb! :) The area here is going just wonderfully Äldste Overstreet and I are working hard and expecting success! We are being blessed! :) I love you Josh! Have an awesome day, and a safe trip home to Utah! Okay, last but certainly not least... Mom!!! I love you Mom! Let me start off your section with a huge thank you! Your box made it to my Zone Sharpening last Tuesday and your other little envelope arrived not long after! I feel so loved! That Alfredo mix you sent was... Awesome! We ate it up FAST! Also, the biscuits with cheese and garlic (my faves!!!) were delicious! Thank you for those treats from home! :) I DID have an amazing time at Zone Sharpening! The name of the new Mission President was released... His name is Gregory Newell.. (The same name we were told by that lady... haha) He was the ambassador to Sweden from the United States, has met the King of Sweden, and has served with two U.S. Presidents! Pretty awesome! haha We are excited for him and are praying for him already. It is going to be very hard to see President Anderson go though... :( Anyway, you sound like you just loved having Landon in your arms! :) It brought a big smile to my face!! :) You can speak the intensely difficult language of "baby"?!?! Wow! I am impressed! I wish I could speak that! :) haha I know you are always there for me Mom.. I love you! Thank you for all that you do! You are correct, transfers will be next week. So, that means that I will not be e-mailing until Wednesday next week! :) Just so you know and everyone else knows! Alright, this is getting very long so I am going to move on to the Spiritual Thought! I love you Mom! Have a great week! Okay, the Spiritual thought comes from a quote by Elder Holland.. "The wounds in his hands, feet, and side are signs that in mortality painful things happen even to the pure and the perfect, signs that tribulation is not evidence that God does not love us. It is a significant and hopeful fact that it is the wounded Christ who comes to our rescue. He who bears the scars of sacrifice, the lesions of love, the emblems of humility and forgiveness is the Captain of our Soul." So many people that I have talked to turn their backs on our loving Father in Heaven because they feel he has wronged them or forgotten about them. Do these people not remember that God's Son, Jesus Christ suffered the pains of all who would ever be on the earth? Do these people forget that our precious Lord hung on the cross for us? That he felt the terrible pain of a world of sinners so that we might one day have eternal life? Do WE sometimes forget that? We all have tough times... some of us, more than others. Do we ever turn our backs on God and feel that we have been wronged? Life is hard... Of course it is!!!!! That is all part of the beautiful plan. We must learn to put our trust in our FATHER in Heaven and know that whatever comes our way... is worth it... is necessary... is strengthening us even if at times it may feel that it is destroying us. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me, a God who cares about me and only wants to see me grow. I know that we can get through all the tough times we have! It seems as though I have been focusing a lot on this lately.. perhaps it is something I need to learn more fully... I am not sure.. But I am sure that through my prayers I am receiving answers. I am receiving the strength I need to continually knock on doors and contact in the streets. To continue doing the Lord's work here in Sweden. This Church is true! This Gospel is Beautiful! I love it with my whole heart! I hope that this week will bring joy and happiness.. I hope that this week will be bright for all! I love you all and pray for you constantly. :) I am a missionary... and I am HAPPY!

Glad alla hjärtans dag!!

Hej Familj!!!

That subject line means, "Happy All Hearts Day" which is the Swedish version of Valentine's Day! I love you all!!!! I don't think the Holiday is quite as popular in Sweden, but it is still cool that they have it! Hey, just to be up front and honest, today's e-mail is going to be short.. We have a Zone Activity in Göteborg today at noon so we need to go catch a train here in a little while. :) So, we have been working like crazy here in Skövde! We had a great number of teaches, and we were even lucky to have the Assistants to President Anderson here to work with us for a day. Apparently President Anderson is excited for what is happening in Skövde and I must say that WE ARE TOO!!!! Our investigator "Pool" is growing and we are finding some very interested people. Here is a quick story, and then I must move on to my wonderful e-mails! We went to visit a man named Danny and his family who are quite positive. When we arrived Danny was not there because a huge snow storm had just hit that day and he was still out working. (He works for the post) So, we decided to try again another time with Danny. However, that left us with a hole in our schedule. So, we decided it would be best to go by some "Try Agains" we had in the area so we could make good use of time. May I just tell you that what happened next was amazing?!?! The very next door we knocked on was answered by a woman who we had talked to before. She stood there and talked to us for a while when her boyfriend came up the stairs and went inside. This is normally when the boyfriend says, "We are not interested.. leave now." However, he was not like that at all! He started listening in the background and then after a few minutes decided to take part in what we were talking about. About five minutes later another girl came to the door very interested in what we were saying. (She had been listening from the other room) They all stood there and asked all the questions they could think of. Some Swedes have very strange ideas about who we are as members of the church. I don't know where they are getting all of the false information. People really don't understand what they do when they bash our church... There is no need. lol Why fight the truth?? :) Anyway, they ended up being very interested and wanted to know more of what we had to say. We are heading back soon and will see where it goes! So, now to the e-mails quick! First we have Dad!! I love you Dad! Sabina is doing well! We visited with her a couple of days ago. She wants to know more about the church before she comes though. We hope she feels comfortable soon! Her and her daughter will be gone this week... You know what, a lot of people in Sweden will be gone this week. They have a thing where they get out of school for an entire week in the Winter... Kinda strange, but oh well! Thank you for your comments on last weeks Spiritual Thought. I love it so much!! I think it just takes a little bit of faith... (To break the rope and finally get moving) Once a person believes that it IS possible, they must know it to be true, push forward, and shift into "warp drive"... (Haha, there is a little bit of Star Trek for ya' Dad!) :) lol I love you Dad! Thank you for your thoughts on love today. You are so right about love being very important for us. In a lot of ways it gives us hope. I always know that there are people who love me. Always! Well, sorry to make this quick Dad, but I need to move on!! I love you!! Okay, now it is time for Matt!!! I love you Matt! Haha, I am glad you are glad that you don't have a Valentine this year. It will save you money just like you said! You want to know who my Valentine is??? lol Thats a personal question my dear brother.. Lets just say, my Valentine is a very special person. ;) :) lol Matt, you asked for my prayers and you have them! I pray for you every day, but I will be sure to pray for help so that you can preform at your best. I know it is important to you! Good! It is always good to have goals! I am soooo happy to hear that Seminary is going well and that you are not tired. That was always a challenge for me! Haha, take care of my precious little Molly! She is getting old and needs a good friend to help her. lol ;) You went on a Job Shadow? How cool! I loved doing those things! Yeah, being a surgeon would be a lot of work, and thats why they make all of that money!! I think my choice of a pediatrician is fitting because it is a little more relaxed and the hours are supporting of a family! (Not to mention the salary.. lol) Plus, I get to work with kids and watch them grow! Woo! Keep looking and exploring the field. Find whats right for you and then go for it! You have lots of time to decide! :) I love you Matt!! Your e-mails are wonderful to read, and they entertain me as well as my companion! I love you Matt! Okay, now it is Mom's turn! I love you Mom! It is true, the Gospel does bring us peace! I am grateful for it also! :) Speaking of Valentine's day... I have a gift for you! The Relief Society had an activity here just a few days ago and they invited us. They were making necklaces and we were hoping to have some less actives there. The less actives showed up so we stayed for the activity. They asked us if we wanted to make a necklace... haha I said that yes, I would love to! I wanted to make one for my mommy! :) It was quite the sight to see me sitting at the table of Relief Society sisters making a necklace. lol Äldste Overstreet found it to be just too funny and snapped a couple of pics. I don't have time to attach them now, but I will next week or a little later if I can. :) It will be a little later, but I will get it sent to you! :) lol Okay, well I am soooo sorry, but I just need to go. I love you Mom!!! Okay now a quick Spiritual thought! Go to this website and watch this video... http://lds.org/pages/families-can-be-together-forever?lang=eng I love you all, and I love my opportunity to serve a mission to spread this wonderful message. Until next week...

The reading will have to come later... sorry!!! :)

Gold Rush in Skövde!!

Hej Familj!!!!

To start things off, we have found gold in Skövde! Okay, maybe not REAL gold, but something much more precious! A great new investigator!!! We were on splits with the Zone Leaders and I was out with Äldste Carlisle. We knocked on a lady's door and she was just about to sit down for dinner so she asked if we could come back in about an hour. So, we went and worked a little more and came back. Her name is Sabina and she is a native Swede. She has a little daughter named Arielia who is about to turn nine next month. Not exactly sure about the husband situation right now, but as far as we know she just lives there with her daughter. Anyway, the teach was nothing short of spectacular! She is just amazing! Everything she said was in line with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We jokingly said after the teach that she was, "quoting the Restoration to us!" :) She had a lot of thoughts about God and Religion in general. One thing she said was, "The Bible has been changed and translated so many times, I just don't think we can fully understand just from the Bible. I think we need something else to help us... Maybe that is what the Book of Mormon is..... I have been waiting for this!" Äldste Carlisle and I were almost jumping for joy! We were so amazed! She asked us questions such as, "How do we tell the difference between the word of God and the word of Man?" haha!! We had her answers! Sabina is extremely nice and just searching for the truth. She said that she was confused with Religion, but hoped we could help her figure it all out! We will try!! She is a very smart person... She works at the local hospital as a Biological Engineer. It may take some time with her because she is the kind of person that needs to understand things first and have them make sense before she can receive a Spiritual confirmation. But that is no problem because this Gospel makes COMPLETE sense!!! I love how that is so true! Well, I think you all thought this week was transfers?!?! Because I did not receive an e-mail from you all... haha, but no worries! I am sure I will get one in the future! lol :) Transfers are a little later on this transfer because of how it worked out with new missionaries from the MTC. The transfer day is on the 3rd of March so that means I should be e-mailing you on the 2nd of March that week... But that is in the future! Just letting you know! Well, seeing as I have no one to write back to, I will get to my Spiritual Thought and then go jam on the piano!!! Wooo! haha :) (You all know me!) Okay for the Spiritual Thought I would like to talk about elephants. Yes, that IS what I would like to talk about this week. You read it correctly! The Circus to a child can be one of the most magical places on Earth. High flying acrobats and funny clowns in cars.. not to mention all of the animals! One of these animals is a little different from the others. It is bigger, stronger and can spray water from its nose! However, this animal is probably the least secured out of all the animals. The tigers and lions have cages to hold them back and keep others safe, but the elephant does not. Why is it that the elephant, the animal who could probably do the most damage if startled, is only held back by a rope tied around it's neck fixed to a wooden stake in the ground?!? Why do the managers of the circus allow this to happen??? I will tell you... it is because the managers know that the elephant will not move. But why will it not move?? Why does it not use its massive strength and, with ease, break the rope or pull the stake out of the ground? Here is why... The elephant trainers, starting from the birth of the elephant, place heavy metal chains around its neck making it impossible for the little baby elephant to move. The elephant slowly grows up knowing, and truly believing that if it ever has anything around its neck... be it a big metal chain or a thin piece of rope... it cannot move. The elephant grows up, not knowing its own strength and ability. Has this happened in our own lives?? Have we been tricked into believing that something is impossible? Maybe it is a seemingly unachievable goal, or even an out of reach desire. There is something we want but we just keep telling ourselves we can't do it. Perhaps it is a habit we need to quit, or maybe its a need to repent of something. Possibly, it is something we have always wanted to do, an attribute we have always wanted to develop. But what if??.... What IF??? What if it was POSSIBLE!!?? In the third chapter of Proverbs, verses five and six, it says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." I love that part, "...lean not unto thine own understanding." It just goes to show that in the Lord, all things are made possible.. even if we just can't understand it! What an AMAZING PROMISE!!! Nephi was able to get the plates from Laban... Ammon was able to gather the sheep... Moses was able to part the Red Sea!!! All of these things seemed, to some, to be impossible. However, those with the faith knew that wonderful promise of which I just mentioned. That is, that with the Lord, anything IS POSSIBLE! It is my prayer that we all be more like Nephi, Ammon and Moses. Let us realize our potential with the Lord by our side! Lets not let some little rope tie us down or tell us we can't do it.... We CAN!!! And we must! I know my Savior lives. I know that he loves me and wants to see me accomplish great things. I can testify that I know he has helped me and made the seemingly impossible, possible. I know the same is true.... for all of us. I love you all... as ALWAYS!!! You mean the world to me and I don't know what I would do without you. Your kind words and loving prayers keep me going and help me to give my all while out here among the people of Sweden. I hope all is well and that you are all having a wonderful week. The Lord is directing our paths, and with him we will be able to do all!

Pure Miracles!

Hej Familj!!!!!

Welcome to another wonderful p-day! Even though I have almost no time to e-mail!!!! I will get right to the point of the subject line! Do you remember that lady I talked about last week???? Yeah, her, and the man she was with both came to church on Sunday!!! Her name is Maria-Therese. We were sitting in the chapel with another investigator when we looked out into the hallway. When I saw them both standing there talking with the members I just about leaped from my seat! We were sooooo excited to see them at church! After we talked with them, the first day we taught them, we had invited them to church... and they came! They stayed for the entire time and had a blast! As we were walking home from church to get some lunch with our Branch Mission Leader he informed us that this lady's name was on a list of 5 people the branch is praying for. The list was created just a couple weeks before she came. May I just say... what a miracle!!! That is the only... ONLY explanation! We were guided to talk to her and her friend and they followed the Spirit to church. I have been beaming and just plain speechless for a while now! We have had much success in the land of Skövde and the future looks even more bright! I can't wait!!! :) Okay, thats about all the time I have for stories.... Oh wait... Nope, one more! As we were contacting we stopped a man that was pretty positive at first. Then he asked us where we were from. (this was in English... he could not speak Swedish) We told him that we were both from the United States here on a mission from God. His countenance completely changed. He started telling us that he was from Iraq and that we had killed millions of people and that our President was a liar and a criminal. He told us to get back to the states and to "preach God there". He instructed us to go to the President and tell him to remove the troops and to stop the killing. This entire time you must understand that we were trying to calm him down and to get him to lower his voice, but nothing would stop him. He said other things that just aren't good for an e-mail or anything for that matter and then stormed off... This has happened to me many, many times, but the next part of the story has never happened. Later on another day we were out knocking on doors.... When we knocked on this one door a little girl answered and we asked if her parents were home. She said that they were and went into the apartment to get one of them. The Mom did not want to answer the door so she went and woke up the husband who was sleeping... GUESS WHO?!?! Yup!! That same guy from the street. He looked really familiar, but we had a hard time remembering where we had seen him. Half-way through the first couple of lines I stopped and said, "are you that man we talked to the other day.. on the street" He replied yes, and we immediately remembered him. He thought it as really strange that we had accidentally knocked into his door so close to when we met. We decided it would be best to just move on, but on the other had we also felt that we were directed into him. We stayed and talked for a while (though refusing his invitation to come in) and everything about him was different. He informed us that he is a Christian and that his family escaped Iraq because they were being "hunted".. Apparently Iraq does not like Christians..... Anyway, he turned out to be a very friendly guy and even invited us to his church he goes to! haha AWESOME MIRACLE!! Okay, I need to get to the e-mails! First we have Dad!!! I love you! Sounds like the temple trip was amazing! I am glad! Our Stake President was talking about the temple yesterday and he asked a very interesting question.. I thought it was profound... He asked, "Has anyone ever gone to the temple JUST to offer THANKS to God??" Wow, right? He continued on to say that most people go with questions or blessings that they want to receive, but that a lot of times we forget to thank our Father in Heaven for those things He has blessed us with. I can't wait to try it!!! I can just imagine that the experience would be incredible! :) :) So, yes, the Andersons have been here for a while now. Their three year mark is coming up in July. It will be a sad day when he leaves, but a little bit of change is good every once in a while! Thank you for watching my Wells Fargo for me! I will look out for your info in March! Thanks! Oh! Those "sunset" pictures I sent you are actually "sunrises!!!!" Completely beautiful right?? Sometimes we have the sunrise out one window and the BIG full moon out the other window! It messes with your mind!!! :) lol Yes, I am also glad that I have the ability to e-mail... I don't know how well I would do with just letters! I don't know how you did it! You're amazing! :) Okay, well I love you Dad! Have an amazing week! :) Next is Matt!!!! I love you! Sweden is doing wonderfully thank you for asking! (even though Sweden lost the World Cup Handball Tournament... lol) The work is going forward with increased pace and the future is just glowing! I am excited! That is cool what you read in D and C 87!! Keep that reading up! How is the family doing with the reading in the Book of Mormon?!?! I hope all is well with that! Are you enjoying it?!?! :) Tired of the cold huh?? Sorry about that one bro.. not much I can do! Just stick it through because Spring is right around the corner! Oh yes, I do love the feeling when you have all of your homework done and you can just relax during the evening. It is all so worth it! Good to hear that the basketball is going strong and that you are enjoying yourself! Keep up the good work, and relax a bit from your lifting! Please, please, PLEASE don't injure yourself by lifting too much. Give your body some time to relax!!! haha :) I love you Matt! Have a great day and know that I love you!! Okay next is Mom!! I love you! First off, thank you so much for the pictures and the Jericho Road CD. I really enjoy pictures when I get them... They are gold! Quite the motivation too! :) By the way... I have asked before, but, how is my facebook looking? Have you posted anything on there or at least signed in for me?!?! haha Do I have friend requests from people in Sweden?!?!?! lol :) Let me know if you get the chance! So, from the looks of it, you had a pretty fantastic Birthday! I am glad! Especially that my letter got to you in time! Whew! Thank you for sending the Valentine's box! I am sure that it will be great whenever I get it!! haha Also, thank you for the Sugar Cookie Frosting recipe... Why did I capitalize that??? lol :) My plaque is up at church?!?! How exciting is that! I look forward to seeing pictures of it! Wooo!! It's about time!!! lol I love you sooo much Mom!! Have a great week and know that you are in my prayers! How is Landon by the way?!?! Is he feeling better?!?! haha :) Okay well now it is on to the Spiritual Thought! This comes from a dinner me and Äldste Overstreet had a couple of nights ago. Äldste Overstreet is working on his cooking skills and had made Chili con Carne and hot dogs. When I commented on how great it turned out he said, "yeah, I was scared at first!" To which I responded... This is a quote of what I said, on the spot!! Pretty cool! I said, "It is often times in our greatest moments of despair that we bring to light our destined ability to succeed, to overcome... TO TRIUMPH!!..... even if it is just chili..." haha :) Yeah, I know right!!?? Sweet! After I said it Äldste Overstreet said, "dude, you need to write that down..." So I did! And may I say that I have just fallen in love with the quote!?!?! It is so true! At times we find ourselves "down in the dumps" or just lost not knowing where to turn. I believe that it is during these times that we uncover our true character... Our truly divine destiny to be great! We are stronger than we often times give ourselves credit for. With the Savior, we are unstoppable! I need to get going, but I hope this quote will help someone somehow... Even if it is just chili, we have the ability to do GREAT THINGS!!! I love you all and pray for you every day! Have an AMAZING WEEK!!! :)

Trogen och Stadig, Är Jag Redo!!!!!Faithful and Steady, I AM Ready!!!!!Äldste Kundis :) :) :)
